Delicious tension with lots of character growth. The reality TV setting felt refreshing, and I enjoyed how each character approached cooking differently. This is my second book by the author, and the writing is well developed and addictive. The narration was FANTASTIC.

A bit cheesy but overall lovely to read and I kept wanting to come back to it.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I’d enjoy this as much as i did. It started off with every cliche you can think of with the whole brooding, tall love interest thing and it didn’t feel original or fresh in the slightest.

But then, the more I got into it, the more interested I became. I’ll admit the actual plot kept me going in the beginning when I didn’t like the romance, but I grew to enjoy it.

The toe sucking, though, I did not enjoy…

All in all, a solid book that I was pleasantly surprised by (minus the toe sucking jump scare).
