I mean, for the target audience the book is probably great. Not bad but, some clumsy writing makes it kind of hard to read in spots. All in all not bad. Not great.

This book is really good, it took me a while to get into it, but im still not sure if i want to complete the series. ??

Really like 2.5 stars. The story itself is interesting, but the writing leaves a lot to be desired. While it is YA fiction, I think it's too watered down for the intended age group. I was definitely a bit let down because I've read some other Ted Dekker books and they were much better. I'll probably read the next book in the series to see what comes of the cliffhangers and hope the writing improves.
If I could give a no star, I would. But I unfortunately read this and need to get credit
