I don't know how Claire Keegan does all this in so few pages. My heart rate was elevated from the first sentence.

A ler, definitivamente.

It’s a novella of 89 pages about love, kindness and gratitude. This book is so beautifully written that it felt so good while reading and I was kinda emerged in the story the whole time that I couldn’t put it down. The vivid description of rural Ireland adds beauty to this novella.

And… the ending… affection is what brings people closer. Parental love is beautifully captured here.
