A primeira metade do livro prendeu-me, mas a partir de um certo momento (o qual não vou mencionar para não dar spoiler), houve uma espécie de quebra na minha leitura. Sinto que o facto de este livro ser promovido como um romance me deixou confusa quando me deparei com a história em si. Sim (!) tem elementos românticos e o plot centra-se numa história de amor obsessiva, no entanto pega noutros temas à volta desse que torna a mesma mais densa e em parte, muito pesada. Gostei especialmente do facto de não gostar das personagens (kkkkk) nice one Emily

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this is considered a classic love story. Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship is dysfunctional and highly destructive. Not to mention the incest taboo relationship (Heathcliff is Catherine's foster brother). This is not a romance and I don't think it should be considered a classic piece of literature either.
