one of those situations where it's not a book's fault it's culturally played, out it actually does just have very good prose and characterization and structure

I’m glad I reread this because I think so much of it was over my head when I read it years ago. I think the style was nice enough and the premise scary enough that this book will remain a classic. I can’t say it was my favorite, but it was a worth-while read if anything to remind us what not to take for granted so as it preserve it.
