Too short to be worthwhile and lacking all the things that made Death Note great. Felt like fan service rather than adding anything new to the Death Note universe.
I really enjoyed this one shot. The new characters were interesting, and the old ones were just as fun as before. I liked that even though it's a one shot it's still long enough to have a good story. The art is just as good as the original series and there are a lot of nice twists and turns
Thank god the original creators gave us this masterpiece to wipe away the stench of that dumpster fire Netflix movie! Its amazing how well they were able to capture the suspense and intrigue of the original series, complete with a ending even more jaw dropping than the original, all in just 87 pages. Masterful storytelling.

Me ha gustado mucho porque soy una putifan de Death Note, pero es lo que tiene usar la nostalgia, que te acaba gustando. Me ha gustado también esa crítica que hace, y, jo, aunque Minoru no se merecía morir, creo que es final digno. Pues si Kira murió, A-Kira también.
Mientras lo leía he pensado que tal vez hubiera funcionado que fuera más largo, con más capítulos, pero tras el digno final que ha tenido, me gusta que haya acabado así. Porque es como que continúa la historia de una forma muy buena, explicando lo difícil que sería usarla en el presente y cuando Minoru encuentra una forma, los shinigamis le cortan el rollo. Me ha parecido que ha estado muy bien llevaba y los paneles y dibujos siguen siendo del estilo del manga original, lo cual suma puntos.
Así que, en resumen, me ha parecido excelente.

Like most short stories or novellas tacked on long after a series has ended, there was very little point to the actual story but this was one of those times that it just felt so wonderful to be back in this world, and with a very different sort of genius wielding the notebook it did feel fresh and exciting.
Hmm, I can't believe I had never heard of this. This was pretty decent.
Ummm what the heck?! This was so good. The art was nice and modern. And the creators adapted this pretty well to the modern day. I have mixed feelings about the way it went down but I also had mixed feelings about the original series. This was great!!
