Wish it was chronological, but I love Drew!

This book definitely had some good elements. Some parts of the memoir were fascinating and Barrymore has definitely had an interesting life. However, I listened to the audio book version, read by Barrymore, which I would not advise. At points in the narration Barrymore actually shouted, causing my dog to run into the other room, the whole thing was overly dramatic and did not contribute to a pleasurable listening experience. I also thought that if the memoir had been organised chronologically it would have made more sense, the bouncing around from Barrymore's childhood to her 25 year-old self didn't make much sense and the book lacked continuity.

I am in my Drew Barrymore fan time. This book is amazing and so beautiful! I am also in my memoir era and love reading about other peoples lives.
