This was a fine read, but ultimately without any real substance. This book is a series of essays/vignettes about Drew Barrymore's life, told in no particular order and with no real through-line. I appreciate how much effort Barrymore has apparently put in over the years to find herself, and I'm glad she's in a good place in her life at this point. I just didn't find most of her stories to be particularly relatable or inspiring. I doubt many of these stories will stick with me in the long-run. All that being said, I do think that she has a good head on her shoulders, and it seems like she truly just wants to make life and the world just a little bit better in whatever way she can, which was nice.
Drew Barrymore as a narrator was also just fine. It was nice to hear some genuine emotion in her voice at certain points, but she also does a lot of yelling and excited rambling, which can be a lot to listen to for 7 hours.

The audio book was super entertaining. I loved hearing about her life, however it was sad reading this right after Drew announced her divorce from her husband.

I found this book incredibly interesting! Drew's journey to truly raise herself and figure out life is nothing short of inspiring. The fact that she is where she is and has accomplished what she has is astounding. I found it inspirational and wise.
Please note, for those sensitive- there is language and obviously it is not faith based, so read what you are comfortable with. If you can see past the differences, though, I think you can find wise suggestions and plus just be amazed by Drew's packed-full life and lessons she has learned. Plus- she does a fantastic job of reading the audiobook!

I absolutely adore Drew Barrymore and this book was simply amazing!! It's a great read for all or anyone who is a fan of Drew. She has such a beautiful soul dispite all the obstacles she hand to endure.
I love Drew Barrymore’s films so I thought it would be interesting to read her memoir. It was fun to hear some of the stories from her life. Her memoir isn’t told in a linear fashion which kind of disoriented me, but it wasn’t too bad because most of the stories don’t build off of each other. It does make me wonder why she chose the stories that she did to tell in a memoir and not others. As a mom to a toddler the open letters to her daughters were wonderful to hear. I really enjoyed the audiobook since it was narrated by Drew. If you like Drew Barrymore, it’s worth the read.

The books content is fun and great but the audio book was painful to listen to with all the screeching. Read this one- don’t listen to it
Wavering between a 3 and a 4. Had to go with 3 because she screams a whole bunch in the audiobook and I may have lost some hearing... Overall, exactly what you'd expect from Drew Barrymore - Author.
