Didn't care for the title story all that much, but otherwise enjoyed this collection.

Ive read quite a bit of Stephen King and loved all of them. But this one I was relatively disappointed by. That being said, a lackluster Stephen King novel is a better novel than most crappy ones I have been privy to read.
So he gets 3 stars for this one, my favorite story being the title piece. It was interesting to see life from that perspective.
But overall, it was just ok.

My favorite of King's short-story collections. Each tale is as good as the last.
Once again, another stellar collection of shorts from Stephen King. Although the stories are really great, as an author, I especially appreciate King's little "liner notes" before or after the stories talking about where the idea came from or just giving some context to the story.
Special Note: one of the 14 stories in the collection, "Little Sisters of Eluria" is actually a full-on part of the Dark Tower series. No alluding to, no references to the mythology, it's actually a story set in Midworld.

slow-paced
So many great stories in this one. 1408, The Road Virus Heads North, Autopsy Room Four, Riding the Bullet, Lunch at the Gotham Cafe, and of course, the two that are a part of the Dark Tower epic, Everything’s Eventual and Little Sisters of Eluria.
Solidly in the middle of King’s short story collections. Many great stories, several that didn’t hit as strong for me.
Great, solid read.
8.5 tingling bells out of 10
