This was a fantastic collection of short stories and was extremely good with its varied mix of stories and most of them left an impression on me, there were only a few I didn’t care for but they wernt terrible or unreadable. All the stories were written extremely well and there’s definitely something in them for everyone. Overall I very much enjoyed this collection of stories and I think they flowed into each other quite well and was put together in a coherent effective way that didn’t feel strange. I’d very much recommend this collection for the wide array of stories and the different genres king can write in, everything’s eventual offers horror, fantasy, realism, melodrama and themes of grief, death, loss and childhood as well as trauma and nostalgia. My personal favourites from the collection were the man in the black suit, the little sisters of eluria, all that you love will be carried away, lunch at the goth ham cafe, 1408 and everything’s eventual.

Pretty good collection - not as good as Night Shift (only other collection I’ve read). The latter half of the collection is better in my opinion (from sisters of Elyria onwards).

Library loan expired, other things on my list are more interesting.
My favorite collection of Stephen King's short stories so far. The introduction influenced me greatly as a writer and introduced me to The Dark Tower. Every story is absolutely amazing. Stephen King can tend to drone on and on but I was consistently riveted with every page.
