Crows and witches and nature and feminine power. I really liked the pace and intertwined stories across time/generations. I liked how each story was told throughout the novel and all came together to form a cohesive narrative.

pretty good! this book follows the stories of three women, three generations of the same family, all witches in their own right. two of the three, altha and violet, are so lovable, and then kate is just...there. 
very sad at points, maybe a bit hopeful but not really. magic was interesting but underdeveloped. overall...pretty good.
