Definitely a lot of triggers for this book, but a beautifully written story about the legacy of women and their strength.

I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. Traumas are a big (but essential) part of the plot, so check trigger warnings if needed.

the only way this book could've been better is if there was more of it. the multi-generationak stories intertwined like a beautiful tapestry. you coulf only see the whole story at the very end. I look forward to more from this author

I had a 5 star feeling about Weyward from the start. This beautiful cover is a perfect match for the story told inside.

Three stories of three women - spanning centuries & generations - are beautifully woven together to create such a powerful narrative. I loved the parallels in each of the Weyward women’s lives & how each of them displayed immense strength, resilience & independence.

An absolutely stellar debut novel that combines magical realism, historical fiction & mystery. This is one that I know stay with me! I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for an impactful read, with feminine strength at the core.

I can’t wait to read her newest book, The Sirens, publishing in March 2025!

I loved it, but be aware it’s a story of breaking the cycle of abuse
