This was a beautiful book, I loved the characters and their connection with nature, themselves, and each other, and how they find power through each of those things. It was definitely a heavy read at times, but I feel it handled the sensitive subject matter with care.

This book follows three different generations of women through separate timelines. Each are, unfortunately, relatable in their own way.

At times the story reads like three separate thrillers as you want to know the outcome for each of the women.

Whilst not necessarily feminist literature this book does highlight the power women hold and how this is only intensified when women are united. A beautifully written book that can easily be enjoyed, despite its heavy content.
