For some reason I was under the impression that this volume would end the series, but I'm glad to see it appears to have more to the story. Rob Guillory's story arc, characters, and just everything about this series is so solid! We get some important backstory in this volume, and we get to see some peripheral characters in action. The Jenkins family dynamics seem very real.

Art is again magnificent and while the story is wacky yet still grounded in believable character interactions it's starting to feel like it's... overstayed it's welcome notes that I've learned this is the halfway point. Don't think I'll be back when the series returns.

personally I'd pack up and move like it wasn't me but this Thorne lady is definition of long game. Curious as to why the treatment works in some people but not others.

Okay, so as awesome as this concept is, this volume suffers from “middle child syndrome”
There are enough answers that we don’t feel ripped off, and enough questions that we want to keep reading.

I sometimes suffer with how to grade individual comics, and trade paper backs, but this time they all ended up good but not great.
There is so much potential to this story, plus Guillory has mention that he wantsa 30 issue complete arc,

So I guess I’ll be preordering farmhand in single issues to make sure that they make that 30.....
