I’m confused why I loved the first one so much. This one is terrible. The first 50 pages are super confusing, snatches of battle during the battle that doesn’t quite make sense. Don’t recommend it.

This was incredible! Still wish there was more world building for Ghizon. Also they kept talking about the past and her ancestors which got me thinking there should be a prequel to this book to further explain what all went down with the Chancellor.

A great follow up to Wings of Ebony. I continues to like the characters and the plot of this was so fast paced I didn’t want to stop reading. My only complaint is that it felt different than the first book and I don’t think that was really a good thing
