Easy read. Okay story

Book 2 was quite good. It has dual POVs which there was 1 part which would have seemed like a big twist but instead we knew it was just miscommunication but it was very action packed and had another solid twist to set up Book 3.

Elise has decided on one thing, love. But he has left her to protect her. Or so he tells himself. In the end they fight their own battles to only realize that their battle is the same. A kingdom must end for the old to be restored. Problem is fate…it’s fickle and hard to understand.

Elise is such a baddie and I love it. She doesn’t waver no matter how much adversity the character gets. Serious hate but always feels that she is to make great change. To avoid spoilers in this review, the male lead is also a strong character on his way towards revenge, and will remain nameless.

I like that we get two perspectives and it felt seamless. The emotions I felt and hidden truths of this story was amazing! So many moments that I didn’t want to see happening but came anyway. What a great feeling. I couldn’t put it down! Spice level
