COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN

Oh my! What a story of triumph and going too far. An amazingly wild ride. This was a page turner and you have to wonder ...where do we go from here

I really enjoyed the flow of this book, it was a little slow at first but the way it was written only had me wanting to read and learn more about the character’s lives. I enjoyed the ending but it didn’t have the sense of closure that I would have hoped for with a book like this.

I went into this book completely blind. I knew nothing about the plot, but I had heard plenty of the hype. This book is a slow burn. It will take some time to get acquainted with the characters and to start caring about their journeys.

It’s worth the wait. You will inevitably fall deep into the hearts and minds of the characters and will be racing to find out what happens to them. This is a character-driven story that truly feels three-dimensional and pulls on the heartstrings.

The Vanishing Half delivers in terms of solid side characters. There are no annoying – I’m only here as a soundboard for the lead – characters. You know every person is on their unique journey and facing their own demons.

Bennett does an excellent job exploring the human condition and the constructs which divide and bind us.
