At first I was confused with how this book was written bc it seemed like it was so much but I laughed at myself when I realized it’s literally camp. It’s the category camp. With that in mind I think it’s a playful lighthearted and campy queer story.

I said the same thing when I read Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me but I wish we had books like this in school. This book did such a wonderful job of discussing how you shouldn't have to change yourself for a partner and the things queer kids feel.

I just couldn't stop thinking about how they were supposed to be 16. The characters were all compelling but it felt weird.

An incredible celebration of queerness, young love, and a great criticism of toxic masculinity. Loved this so much.
