I loved how during the book you got a glimpse of Rufus and Mateo from ‘They both die at the end’.

Besides that I loved the book, it gave you good perspectives from everyone on how people reacted to the Death Cast. What I do find a bit annoying is how they never went in on that masked killer of the Times Square.

i wish i saved myself the heartache and didn’t read.

lol, joking. it was absolutely heartbreaking. i guessed a few things that were going to happen, but it didn’t stop them from hurting just as much.

my stomach is still doing flips from the ending.

The book was alright and fast read, but definitely a bit boring. If you’ve read the first book, I wouldn’t really recommend this unless you’re basically looking for the same plot.

A worthy prequel to They Both Die at the End. There were a lot of similarities between the two books, possibly too many, it did come off as a bit samey but I enjoyed it thoroughly nonetheless. The main characters were adorable and the ending was very satisfying, if a little predictable.
