As soon as the one character got his death cast call, I already knew where this story was going (very strongly telegraphed almost from the start. I loved the originality of the first book as well as the characters but am dropping this one as it doesn’t have the same magic.

Equally as heartbreaking as the first. I absolutely loved the characters. I did feel like it was too similar to They Both Die in the End. Which isn't terrible because I loved it. There are a lot of things about this that felt really fun as someone that grew up in NY, even if it wasn't the city. I kept commenting on the authenticity of the regional remarks sprinkled in throughout the book.

Would recommend for anyone that needs to feel some feelings and have a good cry.

Erm so this book was written in the strangest way idk I didn’t like it.. I did enjoy the beginning like the first quarter of the book (I think( but the last whole bit was woah (erm( idk i didn’t like it at all i didn’t like the ending it was silly it was idk but yerp

Not terrible but also not good either. Like people said this just feels like the first book with very slight changes. The romance felt rushed at best, forced at worst.
