My. Heart. I read this in one day, it was THAT GOOD. This was my first book by Kathryn Moon and I can’t wait to check out the rest. The story revolves around Hannah, a rockstar in the rise that was traumatically turned into a werewolf, and Rafe, a gargoyle that takes on the tougher clients at the Monster Smash Agency. How these two were able to find each other through grief, loss of self, and fear of the future and finally break down those walls keeping everyone else at a distance… it was so heartbreaking and beautiful. Tears were shed multiple times. If you’re new to monster romance, I highly suggest this book!

this slump is making everything i start or pickup again read like shit so the fact that this didnt turn me away even tho it's a 3 star, is a godsend like i was feeling deep in the trenches, was i illiterate

this was fun! the monsterxmonster smut was what my mind needed, the conflict was real enough that i didnt dismiss it and the smut was interesting enough to not skip it

but still it didnt really stick with me so 3 stars

also the 3rd act conflict kinda surprised me and then the reveal happened and i went oh that makes sense actually
