Wish I'd listened to the audio book instead based on other reviews! I'm listening to Dolly's Run, Rose, Run album on spotify now with all the songs from the book.
The pacing was terrible: the first 80% of the book could have been half as long and the last 20% should have been more. You have to suspend reality a little bit for the plot.
I can't imagine anyone thinking they can disappear by trying to become famous?

Rounding up to 4.5 because the audiobook was SO well done. Dolly read for a major character and there were several other readers throughout.
I listened to the audio version of this book just to hear Dolly Parton read her part. I enjoyed the story and the main character - loved her spunk!

Well where do I start. I guess my main issue stems from a 4 story drop onto a glass awning. That is what started me thinking. I posted on Facebook about it and people weren’t very happy lol. So I’m just going to say I suspend believe when I read books but if a book is just your run of the mill story I don’t suspend belief. I am also horrible at writing how I feel. It’s just a brain stew swirling up there and trying not to make people mad. I know I know it’s just a book. But it could have been better.
