Why did I sleep on Tom King for so long? “Vision” is a creepy-then-touching look at humanity, our need for connection and how that need can hurt us. The artwork perfectly nails the suburban tone, and the humor will surprisingly sneak up on you.

I fully don't understand what everybody is seeing in this story.
It's dark. It's graphic. It's depressing. If there's a deeper meaning to it, I'm missing it.
It was just horrible things happening one after the other for little reason.
I'm so tired of trauma parades. It's why I don't watch CW shows, for instance.

Fantastic comic exploring the Visions and their attempts to stay 'normal' in suburbia - it was dark, intriguing and an all round good time!

This was a re-read and a buddy read with Grim over at Booklikes.

It was just as good this time as it was the first. All the stars!

Wow, absolutely incredible. This tells a heartbreaking standalone story that also happens to weave in decades of continuity. It's a story centering around a bunch of robots that calls the notion of humanity into question in amazing ways. It deals with prophecy and world domination but also simple, awkward family encounters. Basically, it's really great.

“One half of me is yours, the other half is yours. Mine own, I would say; but if mine, then yours. And so all yours.”

Love is a bright stain on the Vision.

Who would've known the Shakesperian story for our times would be hiding in a Vision comic book? There's a deeply corrupted portrait of love spread across these pages, intoxicating in the way that only seeing our darkest, most earnest selves reflected in a machine can be.

Someone send Vision the Wikipedia page for codependency.

My last book of 2019, the year went out on a weird note. This story was fascinating, the art amazing. I was left unsettled in the way only a good story can. It was far darker than I expected but I still enjoyed it so much.
