This was an incredibly fun mix of fantasy, magic, and romance. The main characters, Timothy and Paislee, had fascinating backstories. I enjoyed learning bits and pieces of their pasts as the plot progressed and I loved the way the flashback scenes were written. There was a lot of action and all kinds of surprises.
It was more exciting and darker than I had thought it would be, which was great.

I got this as a feeebie in March and thought the synopsis sounded really fun, since paranormal romance is one of my favourite genres.
