What a brilliant, captivating story! It held me from the first sentence, and I couldn't let go till the last one. The story explores childhood trauma, and its impact on the lives of the two boys and the mother. There are certain stories that need a thousand pages to glory, this one needed only eight.

A very, very powerful small story. I was extremely emotionally involved from the first words, and Kona did not let me go. At all. I'm still thinking about this tale. It was hard to read and impossible not to finish.
