I enjoyed this. It was probably a combination of the setting - sailing around to beautiful places, incredible weather - everything in me was drawn to the setting as a place I would LOVE to visit one day and I'd totally love to live there full-time (sounds so perfect). I also was drawn in by the characters - both nicely fleshed out and interesting - I also deeply connected to the "burn out" storyline as something I have also personally experienced - the beautiful setting and endearing love story was both lovely and soothing. Stuart in particular was one of those incredibly delightful and charming characters who has you both rolling your eyes while you fall in love with him. I wasn't a huge fan of the unrealisticly easy and tidy ending ... and some of the manufacturered drama designed to add tension but really felt like a distraction (eg. resort drama and oyster drama). Still utterly delightful ... a lovely book vacation that I greatly appreciated.

I’m glad I had time to read this book. Like with all books from this author, we had two guys working for their HEA. Anything by this author promises to be a great read.

Basically the entirety of this book was me being irrationally angry at this vacation Stuart got to take. Also being jealous of Fosters job which is literally driving a freaking yacht around the Great Barrier Reef, like wtf.
Two weeks... on a private yacht... around the tropical islands of Australia. This is my dream vacation, so my inner bitter bitch was not happy. Fucking rich people and their fancy vacations. 😠😭
ANYWAY
So besides being angry at these fictional characters for living a much more luxurious life than me, this was a pretty solid 3 star book. I liked it but it was also kinda meh. Not a lot happens, it’s a very light, no angst read. The banter was cute at times and way too much at other times.
Basically the entire plot could be summed up in one sentence: Rich Wall Street type takes vacation on private yacht whose captain is a former rich Wall Street type. They bang, they fall in love, the end. (Yes, I know that was two sentences, sue me)

Sometimes I'm in the mood for a low angst romance that is sweet without being overly so.
This is the perfect book for that. Honestly, if you love sailing or traveling, 99% of the book takes place on water, traveling along the coast of Australia. With enough environment details to give you wanderlust but doesn't feel like a travel doc.
Plenty of buildup, the sexual tension was there from the start, with overt flirting (but somehow not the cheesy kind), a very popular white speedo, lots of swimming and sweating, and argh it was just the perfect read!!
There are no side characters and I kind of loved that! Just the two main guys falling for each other and unsure how to turn a sweet, hot vacation into something more...
A couple cute jealous scenes, some steamy scenes (although, I have to say I wouldn't have said no to more...), and a really sweet Hollywood-style grand gesture at the end.
Loved all of it.
