3.5⭐️ Sweet and low-angst story about leaving the rat-race of the corporate world and following your dreams.
It’s a simple and relaxing read about two strangers sailing on a yacht around the Great Barrier Reef together for 12 days and getting to know one another. Lots of flirting and sexual tension. The first half and the end were good but I skimmed some in the middle.

Going to have to file this one under the 'rating based purely on shameless enjoyment' category, but you won't catch me complaining.

The narrator has one tone of voice and that's it. The characters voices aren't different, the chapters aren't "named" so it's hard to follow.
And I just cant listen to a narrator that's thar monotone. There's zero inflection or excitement.

I really loved this one! Not a surprise, since I tend to adore Walker's work, but this was honestly just the perfect book to curl up with and get lost in. The connection between the characters was brilliant, the tropical vacation setting was lush and fabulous, and the whole concept of the Private Charter and the way things developed between these two was wonderful.
Honestly, knocking off half a star because the resolution felt a little rushed and unsatisfying. I would have liked to spend a bit more time on it, but otherwise it was a lovely read.

Idk why but every single time I read the blurb for a N.R. Walker book, I am hesitant. The summary doesn't really draw me in... and every single time I am utterly shocked by how good it is and how hard it is to put down. My expectation for this were low, very low... two man, a yacht, summer fling.. it just seemed like an overdone plot. But somehow she does it again. This story was lovely. The MC's were both fleshed out so perfectly, the setting described beautifully and their romance moved at the perfect pace. N.R.Walker builds relationships like nobody else, it's done in such a smooth and effortless way... A perfect afternoon read.

3.5 Stars from me. A good story for this book, the characters are great but this wasn't up to the authors best writings. The flirty banter that Stuart had going for Foster was okay but it was missing the chemistry between them. I knew this was going to be an okay'sh book at the 30% mark when the coincidences popped up between them, it lost me from then onwards.

Easy short read, low angst, sweet. I can totally imagine leaving everything and living on a yacht near Australian reef. No problem
