It was a bit hard to get into it at first. Really just felt like the author was talking to herself. Like doll play, kwim?
Picked up after a bit, tho.

It's a sweet story. Somewhat of a palette cleanser.

so much fluff i could cry. this book had me giggling and kicking my feet. i actually don't think i have a single negative thing to say.

i loved willa so much. she did everything she could as a new, single mother to care for her baby. i also really liked how this book handled postpartum depression. archer encouraging her that she was still okay and normal, and also encouraging her to go to her dr and start talking to a therapist.

archer was an amazing dad and just a good person. he was upfront about his feelings, he wasn't too pushy or overprotective. he was pretty much perfect imo. no complaints about him really, except his first wife. but she's the mother of his children and he respects her.

five whole stars. i loved this book so much, and i'll probably be rereading before the end of the year

The premise of the story is nice if it wasn’t for the writing. The writing style made me detached to the characters. The flow seems seamless but it’s too quick for my liking—it’s like the author just wanted to get over it already.

This book hit me in my heart due to its relatability to my own situation. It was a good, easy read.
