Ah, my favorite type of romance. A man being completely down bad for a woman and doing everything for her with an occasional child thrown in. And when I say this man was down bad…. he was so fucking down bad. Holy shit. That’s pretty much what this is 😂 Archer is so swoony and Willa was the perfect amount of a sweetheart while simultaneously not putting up with anyone’s shit. I loved them so much🫠🫠🫠 I did feel more connected to Willa, though.

While we got so. much. time. (seriously so many moments🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹) with Archer and Clementine (Willa’s baby) I wish we got to see Willa and Archer’s boys connecting!!

Overall, I’m still not 100% if I wished we got more drama or something that would have caused me to pull my hair out. I really enjoyed all the heartwarming shit but I wish there was something that would have stressed me out 😂 (don’t get me wrong, there’s still plenty of family drama and a reveal.)

Favourite quotes:

Taking the few steps across my apartment, he kneels to Clem’s level and coos, “Hey, pretty girl.”

“You don’t answer to me.”
      “Maybe I want to.”

“You’re where I want to be.”

“I like knowing you want me, Archer. Even if it’s overwhelming.”

“I’m not a hot mess. I’m simply a mess.”

I loved it! Can I get myself a Arrow pls! He’s my dream man! Like I wanna read it again just for him! Like I loved the struggle they go thru together! Hands down I’m in a single parent trope spiral right now and this one just hit the stop! 🌟🌟🥹 so good! I love all the children there soo cute!

i haven't heard much about this book and i'm very surprised, because it was actually really good. it was so sweet, Willa and Archer had such an incredible dynamic and they were so well suited. i've been so obsessed with single mother romances recently and this hit the spot!

LIKE I SAID SO MANY TIMES found family is chef's kiss. and this had it and i just adored it so much.

it was smut free too (so surprised) so if you want a book that is just sweet and romantic and about single parents then this is for you. only thing i'm gonna say is that the plot was sometimes dragged out, and that plot twist was so random and they should've stopped with mentioning her age and the age gap.

anyway, loved it. pleasantly surprised!

super cute

I really enjoyed this book. It had me feeling all the feels with the reminders of being a first time postpartum mom.

It was a nice story all together.
I was a little bit confused at times though.
