4.5 I think. One of my favorite King books. I enjoyed it just as much this time as I did when I was a teen and read it for the first time.

Idk how Stephen King is probably the most famous author yet his average ratings are usually 3-4 stars. This book is outstanding. Probably because he kept it around 300 pages which is where he works best. Just gets to the point with no filling!
Billy is an over weight lawyer that accidentally ran over an old gypsy woman. The judge let’s him off easy so the Gypsy’s put a curse on him, making him continuously lose weight no matter how much he eats. At first it was a blessing but now it’s getting dangerous. The story follows Billy trying to find the Gypsies and get his cursed removed. They may remove the curse but there are always consequences to remove a curse…

An interesting story with an ending that suited the book and protagonist perfectly. Definitely one I'll remember

Took me FOREVER to finish because of vacation and work and then the holidays... I’m so tired. BUT I FINISHED THIS.
This would have been a 4 star book but I realize this is my favorite Stephen King book now (I’ve read a good number of his books).
The ending, I sort of predicted it, but I liked the errr twist at the end. Did not expect it. I was NOT expecting it. Loved that. The I only feel angry about is Ginelli tbh... he deserved better (#justiceforGinelli).
I read a good 3/4 of this book via audiobook, just FYI. The sound effects increased the creepiness factor. 👍🏼👍🏼

It would have made more sense for Stephen King to publish this book under his real name. Thinner is a highly overlooked novel in my opinion. As most Bachman book, it's action-packed and written in a "countdown" format, which is a format King excels at. It is not the most uplifting book there is, but I loved every bit of it.
