This book was absolutely lovely! I read it all in one day while laying in bed sick, and it was a great read for that. I read the synopsis months ago, and kind of forgot it by the time my library hold became available, so it was refreshing to not know which relationship to root for. Also, to have a scene with a bunch of queer people telling a bi woman she's queer even if she's dating a straight guy--god, it feels so good to be seen.

This was a very sweet book, and I loved all of the characters (except
Brooke. Good God she is the worst.
But obviously not everyone can be lovable, so it’s fine. I think it ended well, and the story was cohesive. The author did a great job describing the mixture of maturity and immaturity that comes with being in high school. You feel so self-aware and like you have everything under control until suddenly everything is a mess and you have no idea what happened. A great read!

This was such a GOOD read omg!! Perfect on Paper is a really great story with both great character development and great relationships, romantic and otherwise. I loved the main character, Darcy, who was flawed but continually trying her best to improve and become a better person. The romance was too cute and I had to pause multiple times to squeal about how adorable everything was. I loved the ways that different relationships with family were represented, especially Darcy's friendship with her sister Ainsley, it was perfect.
One of my favorite things about this book is the way that Darcy's thought process was shown. It was very interesting to see her handle the moral conflicts thrown her way, and it really made me reflect on my own life. She also learned more as time went on, so we got to see her perception of people (and herself) change. We also got to see her struggle with her internalized biphobia, and I really loved how that sensitive subject was handled.
I will warn everyone about the use of the infamous miscommunication trope. I personally didn't mind it, but it was a big part of a few of the conflicts throughout the story, so if you are a miscommunication hater- consider this my warning.
I loved this book so much that I can't truly capture all of the things I enjoyed about it. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves ya romance, especially to anyone who loved the To All the Boys I've Loved Before books, like myself. SO CUTE!!!
