DNF. This was just too silly to continue, and there was far too much foul language.

this was awful. promising concept until the main character was made fun of for being a virgin at 27 and set up for a dating service so she could be noted as successfully receiving therapy after her transition to the afterlife. fuck you. i read a few more chapters and it just got worse and worse
Booooorringgggg actually really good premise it just sucks that the characters suck and were so unfunny
This was a cute story with this fun quirky writing style that was fun when you learned to suspend your disbelief and just go along for the ride. I like the main couple and the insane premise, but it just doesn't stick in my head or leave an impression on me.
LOVED this. Laugh out loud funny and probably my favorite rom-com I’ve read this year.

Really funny, cute and reflective. Loved the characters and development, and the twists! Didn’t expect it and loved it.
This story starts with Delphie choking on a hamburger and dying. She ends up in a laundromat talking with Merritt, who says she is her Afterlife Therapist. Merritt shows Delphie a sad video of her life. Delphie is so disturbed that she attempts to run away, but instead runs right into a handsome stranger. They talk, stare into each other’s eyes, and seem to have a moment. Then, he’s whisked away back to the land of the living. However, Delphie, still distraught, tries to bargain with Merritt to get her life back. Merritt makes a deal with Delphie that she will send her back to the land of the living; and Delphie can stay, if she can find this handsome stranger and get him to kiss her within 10 days. Although this is a daunting task, she readily agrees. Delphie only knows his first name is Jonah; and that he’s in London. Delphie quickly finds that she can’t do this task on her own and has to engage with other people to get their help. One of those people is her grumpy neighbor on the first floor, Cooper. This was more than just a simple romance; it is about found family and opening up to new relationships. I really enjoyed this heartwarming story.
