i love how this book made me feel so many things. i was desperate at some points and so proud at others. i love how i have never hated a book character as much as i hate mick and how i have never felt so proud of a book character as i felt for nina. i love how this book creates its story from the term of fire. i love how in the beggining you're not sure if you'll actually like the book and end up loving it !! i am also grateful for how taylor remembered my country, portugal, because it's a country most people decide to forget that it exists, i am forever thankful for that <3

i really wanted to like this but it just didn’t resonate with me while reading and nothing has really stuck with me since.

loved loved loved. i do wish jay and kit’s endings had been a little more complete, but that’s a tiny complaint compared to how great this book is

The premise and themes draw you in right away as the characters and central setting are developed beautifully. While it lags a bit in the middle, it picks up momentum and really builds all the way to the end.

Definitely a good beach read. My jaw dropped a couple of times. I usually read romances but this book had me learning and wanting to learn more about the Riva family! The things i’d want pulled from the book are the details of other characters at the end when things got more intense with the Riva family.
