This leaves me with so many questions but I know for sure I love Shiva. I just want her to be safe. Overall the art is stunning and I cannot wait to see where this goes.

Just the beginning of this story, but still fascinating. The Girl from the Other Side has a sort of pastoral natural calmness and beauty that not a lot of fiction manages to capture. Despite taking place in a world of Kingdoms behind walls where anybody in the forests beyond may be cursed and become an Outsider, or suspected as one and killed, the setting has a sense of peace and beauty to it.
The artwork is incredible, sometimes only a few strokes of white on a black background lending enough detail to depict beautiful or terrifying imagery. Every page impressed me with how skillfully the art is done.
The story follows an Outsider (A goat-headed demon of sorts who was once a man) who finds a small human girl in the forest and does his best to protect her physically and mentally from the horrors of their world. Their relationship is adorable and the reader gets a true sense of caring from the characters.
