An interesting turn of focus to outlaw Nate Romanowski that really fleshed out his history and motivation.

Nate has always been my least favorite character in this series. I get the impression that the author thinks we should root for him and his anti-government stance. I don't root for this torturer. I think it's time for me to put this series aside for awhile. Especially since the only character I actually like, Sheridan, is away at college and only appears in an occasional phonecall.

When I first started these books I was so surprised by how much I liked them. I absolutely loved getting so much of Nate POV and understand more of his character and where he's come from and what he's been through. Can that man please be allowed to be happy?
Can't wait for the next one.
