Reasons why I didn't like this book:
•The depiction that all 17 year old boys that play sport are absolute sex animals
•The idea that is you don't have sex with your boyfriend to satisfy him, he will cheat on you, and it's not his fault cos he just can't help it, he has needs!
•The overuse of the word 'slut' towards the one girl who has 'slept with half the boys of the football team'
•The vague and stereotypical portrayal of OCD and the response being to 'just chill out once in a while' instead of, y'know, getting therapy
•The sudden and recent death of the mother of the MC only being brought up when she needs advice on boy troubles
•The MC is truly not like other girls because she reads books
•The ridiculous miscommunication trope between the MC and the love interest
•The fact that the MC and the love interest ended up together... he deserves better and girl, maybe you just gotta be on your own for a while!!

Things I did like about this book:
•It was quick and easy to read, which was exactly what I was looking for
•The attempt at saying there is no shame in being a virgin, and that lots of people don't enjoy sex at first, or ever, and that's okay... even if the execution was poor

Did I have a lot of problems with this book? Yes. Did I think it was a good portrayal or story overall? No. Would I recommend this book? No. Did I enjoy reading it anyway? Yes. Do all books have to be works of genius or life changing to be enjoyable? I don't believe so.

Would I read it again? ...still no. But it did motivate me to finish some more books so it did do its job!
