Kyne is a master at making complex math concepts easily digestible through phenomenal drag analogies. Even the most jaded math-hater would love this book.

Most of the math conversation is very understandable, even for someone that doesn't like/understand math. I work with math for a living and a small portion of it was difficult for me to follow

As a math nerd, I adored this book. I loved the little lessons as it can be applied to drag and everyday life. I loved the author's narration and style throughout the book. Highly recommend if you're LGBTIA+ and a math lover.

Very unique take on this type of book! The author covers a lot of different areas of math, so it's more of an introduction to different subjects, but covers some very interesting topics.
Having had experience in college with most of the topics presented, I can't comment on how accessible the material is to people learning it for the first time. However, I loved the unique perspective and the inclusion of LGBTQ+ and drag history, not only to highlight important (and oftentimes overlooked) figures, but also to show the complexities and connections within the math and LGBTQ+ worlds.

I expected this to be a memoir but it’s really a history of mathematics from the perspective of a drag performer. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Kyne and I was excited for them to have this opportunity. I appreciate their mathematical know-how even if it’s mostly over my head. My brain just doesn’t process numbers like a mathematician. There are some interesting tidbits here about the history of Ballroom and drag but I would mostly recommend this to people interested in math.
