This novel read like Fear Street fanfiction written by a middle schooler so there's that.

I loved being back in this world! I can't wait to read more books in this series!

While this is much better written than the original run of Fear Street, it isn't as fun and R.L. Stine can't seem to imagine a set of siblings that might actually like each other!

It helped my craving for nostalgia & reminded me of the Fear Street books from my youth. Very quick read.

I’m an adult reviewing a children’s book, so I can definitively say this one isn’t perfect. It’s predictable and full of cheese — but the nostalgia! And, truthfully, this was pretty entertaining. A nice, quick read reminiscent of his earlier Fear Street novels.

I read this book cover to cover in a day. It was a pretty entertaining popcorn type of read that managed to get my mind off some stress and did remind me why i loved r.l. stine as a kid. Only four stars because i found it a little confusing to follow the entire plot's sub text at one point but it did come together in the end. Though admitidly i wish that end could have been expanded on....just a little.

Actual rating: about 3.5

I really liked this one. Weddings, sisters, and a curse, what's not to love! Also the past and present timeline was brilliant and quite fun to read.

So quick personal background. Born in 1988, huge fanatic of goosebumps then fear street (as well as Christopher pike, Caroline b Clooney). I’m still haunted by the cheerleader books and her puking green sludge to get the demon out. Listened to the two available “feat street reboots” (from the late 2010s?) and was unimpressed/disappointed

Anywayssss..this newest “reboot” kept me hooked until the end. I loved the link between past and present. Reminded me of original fear street...not a lot of frills..just pure horror.
