The ending could have been better. One thing that doesn’t sit well with me is aging. Okay there are two lovers one of whom will not age. Fuck that. It doesn’t serve well as a theme of the story. No, I can’t accept it and don’t wanna see as an ending. Eww

Last book of 2022!!! This was one of my favorite movies when i was younger and now that I have read the book I realize that this story is truly incredible no matter how old you are. 4.5/5✨

Hmmm hát… sok-sok jót hallottam erről a könyvről, plusz valamikor ezer évvel ezelőtt láttam is a filmet, de istenre esküszöm, egy képkocka sem rémlik belőle. Szóval azt is fel kellene eleveníteni…
Kicsit meglepett a könyv, én valamiért ifjúsági regényre számítottam, aztán koppantam, mikor durvábbnál durvább leírások jelentek meg a történetben. Most így megnézve, tényleg nem ifjúsági… 😂
A történet maga rendben volt, egy mese, amely felnőtteknek szól. a Kevés oldalt tekintve, kissé kapkodósra sikeredett a regény, néhol túl gyorsan pörögtek az események. A szereplőket szerintem annyira nem ismerhettük meg, ez valószínűleg a könyv rövidségének köszönhető. Inkább a cselekményen volt a hangsúly. Tristan személye tetszett a leginkább, ahogy alakult, formálódott a regény folyamán. Ez is egy fontos része volt a történetnek.
Összességében tetszett, nem bántam meg, hogy elolvastam. ☺️

I read this after watching the movie for years! I enjoyed elements from the book more and some from the movie more! Lot more content in the book, but love Gaiman's style!
