Bittersweet story. Exactly what you'd expect from the blurb really. Dual timeline but easy to follow.
Has some thoughtful quotes scattered through, which was great. However the characters felt a bit cliché and underdeveloped and the writing was a bit too simple. Glad it was a short read.
Perhaps young teens would enjoy this book though.
