3.5 stars! Thank you Jungkook for the book recommendation.

Now, I don’t normally read self-help books but I have to say I liked this one. It’s a good read and it’s primarily aimed to those in their late 20s or early 30s.

The book gives you great advice, particularly about accepting your life the way it is and letting go of any negativity. Nothing too revolutionary overall, but a good daytime read nonetheless.

Was really hesitant to buy this book even if i’ve been seeing it all over ig and knew that JK was readin it. I felt that it wouldn’t give me something that I already know. But this book in it’s little, short chapters has given me a sense of solace in a time when i needed it most (me crying every morning missing my mum)

That peace in itself was worth every read and the new things I’ve learned about another country’s culture (Koreans) and how similar some of it are with us (Filipinos) and how my generation is fighting a battle both inside ourselves and the kind of society we were born into.

If you need a bit of self help in light doses but with some deep insight, this is the one for you :) Happy reading chingu!

It's the kind of self help book that can only work in Asia, where mental health is underdeveloped. Very basic and nothing new in terms of information, with no personal stories just prescriptive. Good reminder and some quotable sentences but not a must read.

Super easy read! I think this will be perfect for people who haven't read self-help or non-fiction books yet. Love the cute illustrations with important messages, they're very witty yet so true.
