I don’t know who I love more: Duchess Goldblatt or Lyle
Lovett.
This book is tender and marvelous and funny and strange and sad and perfect. It’s about finding your people and navigating despair and misery and real estate and secret identities.
I. Loved. This. Book. So. Much.

Not sure what to say about this book, there was humor and truth but also so much sadness. Her writing is beautiful, I would give the writing 5 stars, but the book as a whole I found a bit emotionally draining but not in a good-healthy-cry sort of way.

Touching and encouraging. Weaves stories of family, and the rock bottom she found herself in after devastating personal blows. Creating Duchess Goldblatt helped her immensely, and also others.
