"Pretty Monster" by Sheridan Anne

Well, this was definitely not the stalker romance I expected! Overall, I really enjoyed this one, and the multiple POVs kept me guessing until the end. The dark and suspenseful tone definitely gave off Haunting Adeline vibes, though the stalker in this story wasn’t nearly as developed as Zade.

I listened to the audiobook, and while I liked that it featured dual narration, I found the female narrator to be just okay. Also, I have to say—Kyah’s character was so annoying at times. Some of her decisions and inner monologues had me frustrated, but despite that, the story kept me engaged. If you’re into dark romance with an air of mystery, this one is worth a listen!

Reid is Josh and Aero’s love child, and I’m obsessed. I loved this story! Definitelyyyyyyy dark and f’ed up (please check your trigger warnings) but such a fun ride. I loved the “who done it” vibe and I actually really loved Kyah as a character!!! Definitely read this book, especially if you are in love with Josh from Lights Out and/or Aero from That Sik Luv!

I LOVED this, although I was secretly hoping that the scene where she heard someone in her apartment while she was showering would maybe be another stalker like big Jim just to add an extra layer of fear. Also though her sort of fixing him was unrealistic I feel like it would have ended best if one of them died but I still loved it! Wish we got another few scenes of psycho alex just because the narrator played him so well but I also loved how the author didn’t drag their feet with the plot and got straight to it. Thoroughly enjoyed!
