I could not read at night
Okay this was a good book, only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the first 1/4 of the book, I could not read at night and had me lowkey having a panic attack in my room. I was at a point where I dod nkt want to continue, BUT once I started catching up on the clues I had fun figuring out who the stalker was! #IKNEWIT

Oh this is dark, so very dark!! One of the darkest I have read in a while. This is a stalker romance but add in that her stalker is actually a serial killer and that gives you the vibes we are experiencing.
The FMC Kyah is a strong, independent women who knows what she wants in life as well as with her kinks. She makes some good choices as well as some less than wise ones - we have all been there (but maybe not to the same extent).
There are several MMCs in this book who all obsessed with Kyah in their own way. They are all morally black to some level with heaps on red flags. Sheridan has done a great job of despite them all being quite awful in their own way, making them loveable at others.
Special shout out to the FMC’s best friend Nat, who I would have loved to learn more about.
I feel like I need some time to decompress after this one. There were bits of it I kind of struggled with and it wasn’t the dark, serial killer vibes - i think it was because of Kyah’s response to the whole serial killer stalking her and forming a relationship with her - it was casual to say the least.
I enjoyed it but it not as much as War Games which was a 5⭐️ read for me. Check your trigger warnings if you are going to read as it is a lot. Good but a lot.
