I went into this book not knowing a single thing about it. I saw a pretty cover and stalker romance and went for it. I was NOT disappointed at any point of this book. Not just one hot possessive man, but multiple in this book? *swoon*.

That was fucked up as hell.
Everyone was fucked up, the story was fucked up, hell, I was fucked up. This book had me questioning myself half way through if I was still ok in the head for enjoying this head-empty, hundred ways of fucked up book. The plot was….hm, I don’t know how to put it. It was entertaining, surely, but I think some parts just didn’t make any sense. Low-key stupid too. The anticipation of the identity of the stalker wasn’t really there for me as it was pretty obvious who it was but this book still managed to give me some exciting moments. I so didn’t expect the MC to be a full-on psychopathic serial killer going into the book, but damn, despite all the logic in this world telling me that this book was fifty shades of wrong, I couldn’t help it. I swallowed this book whole.

What was the writer on about, when she wrote this book? I mean I get it, mafia romance, dark romance, the MCs are all kinda like..borderline serial killer. But having an MC who got off on killing people was…let’s just say it was a surreal experience.

This was my first Sheridan Anne book and that was a wild ride. I read the ebook and I’m not sure if there is an audiobook, or if there is who narrates it, but I kept hearing the neighbor as Zachary Webber and the coworker as Teddy Hamilton and the biker as Shane East (even though Viper isn’t British but I guess he is in my mind). The main character is Samantha Brentmoor and the best friend is CJ Bloom. Anyway I usually lean towards romcoms and this is dark but still fun. You should read it. For the spoiler part - she has a stalker. It was pretty obvious pretty quickly who the stalker was, to the point that I was wondering if it was a fake trail. But ultimately this is a dark romance and not a mystery, and that didn’t take away my enjoyment of the book too much - not enough to knock the rating, although it was a little disappointing.
