What is it about a stalker romance that has me reeling. Is it the dedication, the patience, the devotion, or the complete level of unhinged behavior. Scratch that it’s all of the above and Sheridan Anne really raised the bar with this one folks.
Our baddie FMC Kyah, is a feisty tattoo artist with a not so sunshine past and a slew of men falling all over themselves to have her. She’s a rough around the edges, but take no sh*t kind of woman and I love her for it. The one thing she is passionate about is her art, it calms her and her being amazing at it is just another perk. Big Jim, the owner of her tattoo shop, gave her a chance at a fresh start and nurtured her gift until it became a craft. He’s like a father figure and a teddy bear that I just could not get enough of, he protects her in the best way and only wants her to have the best. He must be protected.
When she finds herself capturing the eyes of her coworker and first crush, Crew along with the leader of the local biker gang, Viper. Tensions are high, but they only get higher as her new neighbor, Alex pushes every boundary she tries to set determined to have her. Now if you thought that was complicated… let’s add a stalker to the mix, who simply must have her and will stop at nothing.
I mean is it wrong to have so many men wanting to worship your body. I would say no, I mean they are all ridiculously hot and only have eyes for her, but with an obsessive stalker only one will possess Kyah and it’s going to be him. He will do anything necessary and cross every line until she belongs to him, until she realizes this game is for her too and she loves it 😉.
Oh did I mention our stalker, he’s a serial unaliver… minor detail but we all think we can be the one to change a man, why not him? Why can’t his need for Kyah change him, alter his brain chemistry in a way that sets him right?! There is always hope, am I right!
When people around Kyah start dropping like flies, and she can only depend on a handful of individuals suspicions start to arise and believe me YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THIS PLOT TWIST. I could not put this book down. It was a binge worthy, absolute banger of a read that had me going through every single emotion while questioning my sanity. I mean who rationalizes the behavior of a serial unaliver and stalker… in case you were wondering it is me 😅.
I laughed, gasped, swooned, cried, raised my eyebrows and called into question my judgements on people. Can we say emotional rollercoaster ? This was a 5 star read for me and the spice was excellent. Add to TBR, but check your triggers as this book touches on very dark themes.

Didn't love the writing. The story wasn't bad but I wouldn't reread it.
Well damn. 4.5 starts for this. This book gave me everything i was looking for.
The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because i felt icky about the fact that he just went around killing girls after sleeping with them, for fun. Like in Haunting Adeline, Zade was a bad murdery stalker guy but he only killed bad men and was stopping a human trafficking ring and he would NEVER hurt Adi. Whereas in this book, ‘Reid’ just killed innocent girls for fun, and there was always that ‘will he won’t be’ thing going on regarding if he’d acc kill her, and i like my bad guys to be so obsessed with their women that they would never hurt her and would kill anyone who tried. But he kind of had that going on and admitted that he didn’t think he could follow through so i don’t know. The killing innocent girls thing still didn’t sit that well with me lmao. Sooo i don’t know if i can get past that bit. But the rest of the crazy shit was hot af. I love that Ky is just as damaged as ‘Reid’ overall. Anddd i LOVE how she basically helps him get over his urge of killing, that was a bonus. I’ve been trying to find a book like this for a while and failed but this proved successful. I’ll definitely be checking out more of this authors work!!
