4.11 AVERAGE

Miss Cornelia earned this book these two stars. Anne's voice is lost, as are her agency and dreams of becoming a writer or... of doing anything other than being a wife and mother. I am very disappointed, L. M.

anne and gilbert are MARRIED AND I LOVE THEM WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL!!!!!

Rip now I’m just speeding through to get to Rilla. Why is it never as good once they get together oof

I love the bookseries so much, but it Always takes me awhile to get into a new location/new section of Anne's life, and new charachters (even though I love them all). The only thing that has been increasingly annoying is the amount of religiousness and rightousness.
I am an atheist, I still enjoy books with some religious views/feels, but too much is too much. I don't think the topic of religion was so outspoken in the first few books, but I do not care for it getting more and more pronounced. I knocked off a star because of this
