It was refreshing not to read about someone's "inner goddess" constantly!
I told myself when this one came out that I hope this doesn't turn into a trilogy like Fifty.
It was nice to read what he was thinking all the while.
However, when I finished the last sentence, it left me wanting, for lack of a better term, "more..."

As much as I want to give this a FANTASTIC rating... well, it fell a little short.

I'll be the first to admit the that 50 shades series isn't the most well written book out there but it did its job as an 'escape from reality,' like all good romance novels do.

This... just didn't sound like it was a man's POV. And I also feel like this was really rushed.

Hooked on this, as much as I was for the fifty shades series!

Garbage! I certainly didn't think that the first 3 books in the series were great works of literature, but this was simply recycling the dialogue and action from the first book. There is no real character development or insight into Christian's mind, even though the story is told from his perspective.

This book represents several hours of my life I will never get back.

This story is way better through Christian’s POV. I was not a fan when I read Ana’s... and I only kept on reading because I have to finish any series I start... but this book actually has me wanting to read the next one.

It’s been a decade; was 50 Shades even this poorly written? So. Many. Sentences. Like. This. #%*!.
If you’re really into the original, you’ll be really into this, too, I think. At least Christian isn’t a blank slate of a person existing only in reactivity like Ana was in 50 Shades.

3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - An okay read
2 ⭐️⭐️ - Meh
1 ⭐️ - Not my cup of tea

I am surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I think the entire series should be written from Christian's perspective and the original should be burned!!!!
