I really loved this book. A fictional memoir based on the author's relationship with her dad. It was quite beautiful the way she wrote and portrayed emotional relationships even if there wasn't a whole lot to say aloud.

Extraordinary. A young woman shouldering the responsibility of an ailing parent, lovingly told. This was a touching and wonderful story. It’s been 6 years since I lost my dad, and I related to Maddie’s grief and frustration. Highly recommended.
