Okay I am torn on my rating. I really like some elements of this book and didn't like others. Not everything made sense to the story and frankly it was a little slow and boring in the beginning. But Once things started going on I got pretty invested and I think I like the ending a lot. Well Part of it.

I dunno, its hard to pinpoint how I feel.

I liked this. Though it felt so similar to The Locked Door that I just read. Like ridiculously similar. Idk which was first but someone read one book before writing the other level of similar.
Dad’s a serial killer. His workshop is in the basement that’s always locked. There’s a flimsy reason why the daughter shouldn’t go down there. But she wants to go down and see. Now she’s an adult and is dealing with her past come back to haunt her.
For real. If you read one, no need to read the other. This is more paranormal the other is more real world. But it’s the same story.

Came for the beautiful book cover, stayed for the story. This left me wondering what will happen next the whole book.
